SI Writing

}

When writing SI measurements, you should use the proper spelling for the units. The prefix’si’ should be written in lower case, and units should have no hyphens. The name of the SI unit should also be capitalized. In addition, you should include spaces between the SI unit and the numbers it represents. You can also use italics, but they are generally not used with SI writing.

Another important part of si writing is to make sure you are not repeating yourself. For example, if you have a paragraph where you describe the same thing twice, you should either rewrite it or delete the redundant part. This may be due to adding unnecessary information to the paragraph. When rewriting, try reading it out loud to see if it makes sense.
